----BEGIN UPDATED REVIEW----Today is September 15th 2022,ALMOST 2 FULL MONTHS OF OPERATIONAfter my initial review with the issues stated, CKK reached out to me and at that time a second camera was malfunctioning, 2 replacements were requested. CKK stated that basically the likelyhood of more than 2 being bad was far fetched. I stated that i was having physical issues with more than 2, however 2 were physically experiencing issues, recommended improvements to the design, etc.They said they were sending 2 cameras, i received 1 camera replacement and had to reach out again, they said both cameras should have been received, i sent pictures of what was received and they stated they had some issues in the warehouse and sent the 2nd camera replacement. They requested my review was removed, rather than except the honest review and accept some assistance in product re-design.Now as of today a 3rd camera of the original purchase is failing to pan and somehow keeps losing its memory of the tour stop locations and now pans facing the house wall. Panning gets stuck unless i pan back and forth a few times and probably know exactly why at this point, wiring is getting caught on the motor housing and the wires prevent it from panning.So at this point with the issues of the website control vs mobile app issues and functionality along with the NVR functions that don't seemingly work without advanced knowledge or documentation that isn't supplied with the purchase such as NVR Zoom operation.This system has so many issues, i should have forked out the extra $20 to get a more solid and reputable system.Pros:Setup is quick and easyFree remote Viewing in appMobile app works to an extentCons:System software is outdated and complex to update.NVR is network connected and has no option for online updates.Cameras have design flaws with housing and wiring.Additional antenna has no antenna wires, therefore false antenna and false advertising.Camera Smart operation does not work properly and randomly turns on spotlight no matter how much you change lighting controls.Infrared option for some reason switches to on and off if there is any light or reflection at the lens and turns off the infrared at night and you get grainy darkness.had to install lighting for night time operation and leave camera in daylight setting to halfway operate correctly at night. The throughput for the cable entering the pan head from the mount has broken wires and the antenna wire, singular, is frayed from panning motion and rubbing across the pan motor head.Second, False advertising lawsuit? your cameras are depicted with 2 antennas sending or receiving signal, how is this possible with only 1 antenna wired to the only transceiver on the circuit board, which doesn't appear to be a dual channel radio system as advertised to have true repeater capability, unless it is pulse transmitting between Main Xmit and Repeater Rcv and Main Rcv then Repeater Xmit. which is why i have signal quality issues, or its just the cheap design with faulty wiring layouts that are literally shredding wires inside the upper housing.How many of these have you sold this year? I am a business owner and purchased these based on the information provided in the advertisements and product details.The NVR system is extremely limited for a self contained NVR, the software and NVR controls do not have zoom ability, where it is advertised as "Pan, Tilt, Zoom", more false advertising. You only get digital zoom in playback on the NVR, time control for playback is poorly programmed and jumps.Human tracking, tracks everything that moves, just throws a red box around leaves, people, animals, flags, grass, etc, which causes the panning to intensify as it is trying to maintain the touring positions and rapidly jumps back and forth to motion detected and tour position, causing overheating of panning motor and possible melting of the plastic mounts holding the 2 screws which keeps the camera from falling out of the housing, along with the single center mount screw in the middle of the armature shaft.Someone please reach out ASAP to discuss what next steps shall be taken to remedy these issues and my dilemma as a fully functioning system is required immediately. 3 more cameras that can potentially fail at any moment which could put lives at risk.Poor quality with system crippling failure within 2 weeks to the day, of installation.Thank you and have a great night.I will post an update, once I hear back from CKK Tech Support or Anlin. For now, my recommendation stands as highly NOT Recommended unless they will be stationary with no panning to prevent wires from failure.The Good:1) System installed out of box. No complicated configuration is needed (just make sure you have a spare monitor to connect to the NVR unit)2) Cameras can act as repeaters extending the wifi range quite a bit3) It creates it's own wifi network thus not overloading your router with a live stream4) Image quality is sufficient, not too blurryThe Bad:1) It virtually cannot integrate with any cameras from 3rd party vendors. This feature is mentioned but not widely advertised.2) Night color view works. Maybe too good - It acts a big flashlight. First night I freaked out and disabled the color night vision right away3) No zoom. Hey CKK, what does the Z in PZT stand for?4) Person detection is absolutely random. You'd expect it to be powered by some sort of an AI, like YOLO or similar, but no.The Ugly:1) No RTSP server as advertised. The button albeit non-functional was present in 3.2.0.0 and has been removed from 3.2.4.0.2) Web view is a joke - It relies on an OCX component which is not supported by any modern browser. But even is you open it with IE11 you still have to jump though a few hooks to get it stalled.3) Since it's OCX not HTML 5 or anything similar you cannot integrate it with any home automation system4) The tracking system doesn't return the camera to the original position. I.e. if you're tracking someone from the garden gate to your front door, the camera will stay looking at the from door, and will not detect a person entering the garden gate.5) The manual is a joke, but I guess it's common Chinese designedWhen you away from home, you rarely able to connect to your camera. But you can call someone at home to restart the box, then you will be able to connect!Update: Finally found the problem is my LAN problem. I changed a switch then it work fine now.GreatI use these outdoors to monitor horses in the barn and paddocs. Easy to set up. I can see all I need to day or night. Set up on a desktop, laptop and phone.Needs a better translation of instruction and it don't come with the hard drive for storage. I didn't realize that when purchasingCameras have very clear day and night video. Easy to inslall. Very good survailance system for the cost.I bought three of these, Office, Warehouse and Shop area. Its a great price if your on a budget and need it quick. The unit comes with 4 preset cameras, plug and play. The unit is preset for 8 cameras and 1TB of hard drive storage , the 4 cameras were easy to install and the picture on these are good and it helps that all are PTZ's. Additional cameras were needed in the Shop area so we bought the same cameras with PTZ. I had other choices to choose from but these were the best that we found for the price and functionality.
