I have not setup the Ring doorbell so not sure how much effort that is, but I can say that to set up this you need to be a reasonably technical and competent person. There are YouTube videos and instructions on getting this up and running. You can get screens to display the video and you can see it on your phone with the Hikvision app. I have a CCTV system from this manufacturer so it combines well with that and the video can be recorded from these cameras along with other CCTV cameras from Hikvision. There are a lot of features that can be enabled such as door control with the correct door lock system.
