This fountain arrived very well packaged and the pump was easily attached. Just add water and sit back and enjoy the sound of the water falling. We have it displayed in our morning room where we enjoy our meals and completing tasks at our table. Very calming addition to any room.I love design, however it leaked like nobody's business! At first I thought it was just splash from falling water, but after about two days the puddle got worse and worse and the water level fell way too quickly and I realized it's leaking from underneath or side seams. I'm going to get some Flex Seal and hope that fixes issue because I do love the fountain!**UPDATE***: I did spray clear Flex Seal along inside bottom base, bought a silicon mat to place underneath fountain (for inevitable splash from fountain flow) AND made sure to use DISTILLED WATER as instructed. VOILA!!! ALL LEAK AND SPLASH ISSUES, SOLVED!! I LOVE THIS FOUNTAIN!! I’ve had it running constantly for about 3 days now, and there is NO pooled water in the mat, nor is there significant splashing from the flow that was occurring when I had just used either tap or bottled water to fill fountain. The fountain I received is NOT plastic and it is the slate stone as advertised. I would give it 5 stars, but for the added labor that was needed, however, perfect Zen now achieved!Easy to replace, but tired of being sold crap... aren't you?Set this up on my screen porch. Really lovely with sunlight shining through the trees and hitting the copper and water. Almost returned because the pump started to make noise but realized I'd let the water get too low. Virtually silent pump with proper water level. I use my own collection of beautiful stones both in the copper water troughs and at the base and love having a place to show them off since they look best when wet. I prefer a fountain made from natural materials rather than resin even though it makes it heavier. The natural slate is perfect.This is a great looking fountain, heavier than I expected. My wife loves it. One big problem was the basin was not sealed correctly and leaked had to seal it myself with silicone.Love the product but had to return due to a leak. The return and exchange process was easy. The new one works perfectly and is really easy to love.I bought this for my mom’s birthday and I was happy with the quality. Real slate, sturdy construction, on off switch so my mom doesn’t waste electricity (she hates doing that). It also makes a nice audible tricking water sound that can be heard from about 30ft away from the fountain. When I first set it up there was a tiny amount of water that splashed around the fountain.
