I live in Arizona and generally go barefoot all year long, putting on socks during the winter when it gets cold (and YES, it gets below freezing at night in December, January and February!) The only time I wear real shoes is when I leave the house. I really dislike the bulkiness and confinement of slippers, and I've grown tired of wearing holes in the bottom of my socks. After looking at many different alternatives, I decided to try these as an alternative.I wear a size 6.5-7 shoe so I ordered the Medium, and they fit perfectly. When I first put these slippers on, I was worried because I could feel the non-grips on the bottom of the sock/slipper. I wasn't looking forward to walking on little nubs all day. But, after about 10 minutes, I couldn't feel them anymore. Now after wearing them for about 3 hours, I am pleased. They haven't stretched out and become floppy, and they do keep my feet warm. They are thicker than socks, but much thinner than slippers, so I still get the feeling of wearing no shoes. And I like the idea of being able to throw them in the washer when they get dirty.If you're looking for something to keep your feet warm that are non-skid, these will work. If after wearing them for awhile and washing them my opinion changes, I will update my review. But for now, my feet are cozy!I thought these were pretty good for the price when they arrived. They are super soft, light weight, and seem to go through the wash well (the "rubber buttons" on the bottom didn't come off). I've only used one pair so far, but after only one wash and a month of daily use, the seam has come apart. I made this purchase to replace a pair I bought about three years ago from a major retail chain on a Black Friday deal. Needless to say these are far more expensive than my three year old pair which have no holes and have been washed numerous times. Not only have they come apart but they stretched out and tend to come off my heels. Thank goodness there is more than one pair in the package. I'll be using these up and then put my old pair in service again.Received my order today and pretty much immediately began wearing them. Very soft and comfortable. Sadly, I bought these because I'm about to have a c-section and I wanted something I could wear on those gross hospital floors to keep me from slipping and these aren't going to do the trick. While they do have rubber grips on the bottom, I'm still sliding all over the place. Aside from that, as many other reviews stated, I was sent a pattern that I did not order. Overall, comfortable and they fit well (I am a size 7 and purchased a medium) but they aren't going to work out for the purpose of my purchase.3 packI like these but the size of the three varied. One was too tight around the top of my foot. So I won't be buying them again. I gave two of them to family members whose feet are smaller. They like them.Very soft and comfortable!
